Variously described as a labourer, driver and council employee, George Beazley is the grandfather and founder of the Beazley family fish business which is still located in Port.
He lived in Graham Street and was registered as a voter in 1904 at an address in Graham Street. Sometime between 1924 and 1928 moved to Rouse Street registered as 'fishmonger'.
He married Rachel Livingstone, their children were:
George Robert Beazley born 1877 who married Margaret Eleanor Gray in 1899, and
Leonard William born 1917 who married Caroline Jean. Their son is Leonard George (Dugga) born 2.8.1940 who married Edith Frances and still runs the Dow Street fishing business.
