Parents: John Alfred and Frances EZART, born Port Melbourne, educated Nott Street SS. Ezart enlisted as a 19-year-old glass blower with his mother in North Fitzroy, circular returned from there showing it as the place of association for her late son. He was originally posted as Missing, confirmed killed in action by a Court of Enquiry, August, 1917, no known grave. Directories at the time of his birth show the family at 169 Graham Street, brother 6322, Charles Thomas EZART, born Yarraville enlisted from the North Fitzroy address. Noted the pair’s father died on 5 February, 1918.
