    Second World War service :

    Born 25 June, 1892, enlisted 11 November, 1943, served as V404189, Sergeant, 1 Battalion Volunteer Defence Corps, locality on enlisting Footscray , Attested Newport, NOK. Discharged 8 October, 1945
