Parents: Adam (late) and Rebecca Ada THOMSON, born Richmond, educated Nott Street SS. He was shown as a 20-year-old rice mill hand (Robert Harper & Co, Port Melbourne) when he enlisted with his mother at 36 Liardet Street as next of kin, later shown 13 Durham Street, Albert Park. She apparently could not be contacted post-war when medals were distributed, but appears to have been located via a press advertisement seeking her whereabouts; she returned the circular, but with no address shown. No known grave.
