934 (Parents: Richard (late) and Elizabeth TREZISE; wife Mrs Lucinda TREZISE, born Clunes, educated Moreland SS Enlisted with wife at 36 Ferrars Place, later shown at Oakleigh, and 178 Stokes Street, Port Melbourne by the time of his death. He died 9 February, 1919 at the 3rd Australian Auxiliary Hospital in England from influenza while awaiting return to Australia; he had been invalided back to England twice in the preceding 12 months, but was on leave when admitted. The Port Melbourne Standard(22 February, 1919) in a brief report of his demise described him as “the husband of Mrs. Trezise, the well-known patriotic worker, as well as a bereaved widow the dead soldier leaves two brothers and six sisters”)
