Felicity Watson from the National Trust will be the guest at our September meeting.

In this presentation, National Trust Advocacy Manager, Felicity Watson, will discuss the enduring importance of heritage advocacy to communities across Victoria, and current issues and debates in heritage, including the recognition of social significance, support for local heritage protection, and good design in a heritage context. Felicity will also discuss some recent campaigns, including calls for the recognition of the “olfactory heritage” of the Vegemite Factory in Fishermans Bend. 

Felicity is a heritage advocate who has more than 15 years of cultural heritage experience across consultancy, public history, and the not-for-profit sector.
