Gunner, Royal Australian Garrison Artillery, died of unknown causes, 25 October, 1918, Queenscliff

(Parents : Charles (late) and Mrs Isabella PIPPARD, Something of a mystery – he does not appear in AWM records, but a Death Notice in The Argus, 28 October, 1918 notes his death while serving with the Royal Australian Garrison Artillery at Queenscliff, “beloved third son of the late Charles and Isabella Pippard, Stoke Street”.  He appears to have been with the Permanent Forces, but did not enlist in the A.I.F)
